As a huge fan of Alex Kidd while I was a kid, I’ve decided to make this animated video. I wanted to try a HD version of this great game.
Please consider this as just a fanart. It’s not a proper video game since I don’t have the skills for coding, just a animation done in photoshop and after effects.

I used to play this game a lot when I was little on my MasterSystem II. Only difference is that Alex eats a hamburger instead of a riceball 🙂

Alex Kidd was eating a hamburger in the US version, and an Onigiri (japanese rice ball) in the original version.

Today Alex Kidd comes out on Switch, and after trying Wonder Boy’s remake i have to say: I hope that someday this becomes a reality.
